Reiki Training
All courses run for 6-weeks from 6-9pm at The School HQ.

The International Reiki School offers training for individuals interested in becoming a Reiki healer. The training takes place in four phases: Reiki I, Reiki II, Advanced Reiki Training (III) and our Teacher Training Program.

Reiki For Beginners (Reiki I) - Start Date -October 2008 - 4 places left!

What you will learn: Client care, the consultation process, successful practical treatment applications, as well as Reiki lineage, history, and politics. You will be able to identify energy centres and processes of the body and receive your level I Reiju or Empowerment.

You will achieve: The ability to use Reiki, explain the history and background of Reiki, complete a professional treatment, and be a fully trained Reiki I healer.

The cost for the course is £145 (£130 for NHS Health Care Professionals) payable in 3 installments, with £50 due with return of registration form which will secure your place on the course, £50 due when receiving the attunement on Week 3 of the course, and the final £45 (£25) upon completion of the course.

Reiki For Intermediates (Reiki II) - Start Date - September 9th 2008 - 1 place left!

The International Reiki School's course 'Reiki for Intermediates' wiill focus on the practical application of treatments to ensure that you are a meticulous and confident practitioner. With this level completed you will be able to gain the necessary insurance to practise professionally.

What you will learn: Symbols - their use and meaning, Reiki legalities and insurance, Reiki misconceptions, Distance and Time healing, the Reiki Grid.

You will achieve: Professional standards in use of Reiki, setting up a Reiki practice, and the skills to adapt to different client types. You will be a fully trained Reiki II practitioner.

The cost for the course is £175 (£160 for NHS Health Care Professionals) payable in 3 installments, with £50 due with return of registration form which will secure your place on the course, £50 due when receiving the attunement (approximately 3 weeks into the course), and the final £75 (£60) upon completion of the course.

Advanced Reiki Training - Start Date - September 10th 2008 - fully booked!

The Master Practitioner or Advanced Reiki Training course has been devised to give professional Reiki practitioners the opportunity to continue their Reiki journey.

What you will learn: The Usui Master Symbol, psychic surgery, Attunement preparations, the Violet Breath, and healing attunements.

You will achieve: The abilities to carry out healing attunements, deliver psychic surgery, and develop your commitment to the energy and to Reiki studies.

The cost for the course is £299 (£260 for NHS Health Care Professionals), payable in 3 installments, with £100 due with return of registration form which will secure your place on the course, £100 due when recieving the attunement (approximately 3 weeks into the course), and the final £99 (£60) upon completion of the course.

Reiki Teacher Training - Ongoing

This course is for those who wish to commit their lives to the teaching and healing of others. On this course you will accompany a Reiki Teacher to classes as an aide and take parts of each class. You will deal with students from all levels of Reiki Training. You will learn how to pass on Reiki attunements, including all preparations.

The cost is available upon application.

Traditional Japanese Techniques - Start Date - October 2008

This course reveals the traditional techniques taught by Hayashi Sensei, student of Usui Sensei. To attend you must have completed Western Reiki Level II or higher.

What you will learn: Original Level II symbols, Emotional healing Treatment, Enkaku (distant healing) and the Kenyoku Massage - a technique widely acclaimed as the "complete Reiki" healing massage.

You will achieve: The ability to carry out all of the above techniques to a professional standard to complete your Reiki practise.

The cost of the course is £40 for a full one day course which includes all materials required.
